Q: Do you provide any software to evaluate
log files? A: We currently provide webalizer as
part of your setup. You may also download the log files and
use some other application. You should be aware that we
remove log files older than 7 days. If the log files are
important to you, we recommend that you download them at least every
6 days.
Q: How often are files backed
up? A: Files are backed up every night.
However, even backups fail. If you have data that is
important, we suggest that you keep your own backups. We also
highly recommend that you edit your files locally and then post them
rather than making live updates.
Q: How reliable is your
connection? A: The most common reason for
downtime is circuit failure on the backbone, the major data
highways. To guard against this we have two Tier-1 providers,
OnNet with Level(3) and Qwest. We also have
other features such as UPS, secure monitored building, dual
power supplies on each server, hot swappable drives, and a backup
supply of identically configured servers. These features
protect you against down time based on network or hardware
failure. While no company can guarantee there won't be any
problems, we've done our best to minimize to possibility.
Q: I need to do ____ on my web site, how do I do
it? A: Most none programming operations can be
performed by using our control panel. There are a few minor
things that you may not be able to do, for those just submit a
ticket to support and we will ask our support department to take
care of it for you. For programming task you will need to
consult with a programmer.
Q: I'd like to move my site to DMB
Hosting. What do I do next? A: When you

existing site. Once you've completed the sign up process, you
will be e-mailed the Domain Name Server information that you will
need to give your Registrar. After you have posted your site
to DMB Hosting and confirmed that it is working correctly using the
instant access domain, you should log into your domain registrar and
